For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
Alex Ambros, conducting unregistered business activity within the meaning of Article 5 of the Act of 6 March 2018 – Entrepreneurs’ Law, with its registered office at: POLAND 41-902 Bytom, 19/3 Łukasz Wallisa St., e-mail address: contact@alexambros.com.
A service provided electronically, consisting of providing access to a programming interface (API) enabling the querying, monitoring, and processing of data of business entities registered in public state registers.
Exclusively an entrepreneur within the meaning of Art. 4 of the Act of 6 March 2018 — Entrepreneurs' Law, i.e. a natural person, legal person or organizational unit without legal personality, conducting business or professional activity in their own name, who has concluded an Agreement with the Service Provider. Services provided under these Terms are not directed at consumers within the meaning of Art. 22¹ of the Civil Code.
An agreement for the provision of electronic services concluded between the Service Provider and the User on the basis of these Terms, upon Account activation.
An individual panel managed via API, available after registration and email address verification, assigned to one User.
A unique, confidential string issued to the User upon Account activation, constituting the sole means of authentication and authorization of requests to Alexambros API. The User may have multiple active Tokens.
A single, authorized HTTP call to a Alexambros API endpoint. The number of available Requests is the basis for billing the service through the credit system.
Billing units credited to the User's Wallet, purchased through the Payment Operator. Each API Request deducts a specified number of Credits according to the pricing available at /pricing.
Paddle.com Market Limited, with registered office at Judd House, 18-29 Mora Street, London, EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom (hereinafter: Paddle), being the exclusive operator of financial transactions, responsible for collecting payments, issuing invoices and tax settlements.
Information on business entities sourced from publicly available state registers (GUS, REGON, KRS, CEIDG), made available by the Service Provider via Alexambros API.
Servers, computing and network resources on which Alexambros API operates, hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.
1. These Terms govern the conditions for the electronic provision of services by the Service Provider within the Alexambros API platform, the rules for using the Account, and the rights and obligations of the parties to the Agreement.
2. Alexambros API is a service directed exclusively at entrepreneurs. By registering an Account, the User declares that they are acting within the scope of their business or professional activity. The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse or terminate the Agreement if there is reasonable suspicion that the Account was created by a non-business entity.
3. Exclusion of consumer law: Agreements concluded under these Terms are not subject to the provisions of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights, in particular the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason, unless a User who is a natural person conducting business activity concludes an Agreement that does not have a professional character for them (Art. 38a of the aforementioned Act). In such exceptional cases, consumer protection provisions apply to the extent expressly indicated by law.
4. The Service Provider provides services via the Internet. The User independently ensures equipment and an internet connection with parameters necessary for using Alexambros API.
5. For financial transactions (purchase of Credits, issuing VAT invoices, payment processing), the Payment Operator—Paddle—is solely responsible. Any complaints regarding payment processing, invoicing, or refunds should be directed to Paddle directly by the User in accordance with their terms and conditions available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/terms.
6. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions occurs during the registration process by creating an account and confirming your email address. Acceptance constitutes the conclusion of the Agreement.
1. Account registration takes place exclusively via API, by calling the registration endpoint with an email address and completing verification with a one-time initialization token.
2. After providing an email address, the system automatically sends a message containing a unique one-time activation token, valid for 24 hours from the moment of registration.
3. The Account becomes active only after calling the initialization endpoint with the token from the email. The Master Token is issued exclusively after positive email address verification and is shown only once — the User is obliged to immediately and securely save it.
4. One email address may be assigned to only one active Account.

4. Violation of any of the above prohibitions results in immediate, irrevocable blocking of API Tokens, termination of the Agreement, and may result in claims for damages on general terms.

2. The Service Provider applies global emergency rate limits of 180 requests per minute per Account, aimed at protecting the Infrastructure.
3. The Service Provider strives to ensure the highest possible availability of the Alexambros API, but does not guarantee its failure-free operation 24/7/365. Any planned maintenance or technical outages unrelated to emergencies will be communicated to Users at least 72 hours in advance via the service status page and/or electronically.
4. In the event of Alexambros API unavailability lasting continuously more than 4 hours due to reasons attributable to the Service Provider, documented on the service status page, the User may apply for a Credit Bonus. The Credit Bonus is the only form of compensation available for unavailability and takes the form of additional Credits added to the User's Wallet.
5. A Credit Bonus request should be submitted via email to contact@alexambros.com promptly, no later than 7 business days after the outage ends. The Service Provider processes the request promptly, no later than within 7 business days.
6. Planned maintenance breaks will be announced at least 72 hours in advance on the service status page. Credit Bonuses are not available during planned maintenance breaks.
1. Registry Data made available by Alexambros API comes exclusively from public, external state registers, over whose content and accuracy the Service Provider has no control.
2. The Service Provider is not liable for errors, gaps, outdatedness, incompleteness or other deficiencies in Registry Data resulting from inaccuracies in the source public registers.

At the same time, the Service Provider makes all reasonable technical efforts to proactively identify anomalies in Registry Data, informing Users of their detection through available communication channels. Taking these actions does not, however, constitute grounds for extending the Service Provider's liability beyond the scope indicated above.
4. Users who use Registry Data in decision-making processes (e.g. verifying a contractor before concluding a contract) do so at their own risk and are obliged to independently verify data in official government public registers before making decisions of legal or financial significance.
1. The User may cancel the service at any time by contacting the Service Provider by email. Cancellation does not entitle to a refund of unused Credits — all billing matters are governed by the Payment Operator Paddle.
2. After submitting a cancellation request, the Account enters a deactivation state (soft-delete). For 180 days from deactivation, the User may reactivate the Account while retaining existing settings and history.
3. After 180 days from deactivation, the Account and all associated personal and configuration data are irrevocably and permanently deleted from the Service Provider's systems.
4. The Service Provider may suspend or delete the Account with immediate effect and without prior warning in cases of: violation of §4 para. 3, reasonable suspicion of unauthorized access, or actions threatening Infrastructure security.
1. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms for important technical, legal or organizational reasons.
2. Users will be notified of any change to the Terms at least 14 days in advance via email sent to the address assigned to the Account.
3. Failure to cancel the service within 14 days of the notification date is equivalent to acceptance of the new version of the Terms. A User who does not accept the changes has the right to terminate the Agreement with immediate effect before the changes come into force.

2. Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code of 23 April 1964, the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services, and the GDPR Regulation.
3. Any disputes arising from the Agreement shall be resolved amicably by the parties. In the absence of agreement, the competent court shall be the common court with jurisdiction over the Service Provider's place of business.
4. The invalidity or ineffectiveness of any provision of the Terms does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
